Starting in 2018 Access Mob Pittsburgh took over running a bimonthly Community Lecture Series, where speakers came to talk about a broad variety of subjects related to disability, mental health, and chronic illness. While we unfortunately had to take a hiatus from this series due to COVID, we are excited to announce that we have brought it back.
Lectures are generally from 6:00-7:30 PM on the last Monday of odd months, although we will switch to an alternate date if the original falls on a holiday. Unless otherwise noted, all lectures will be online only on Zoom, or streaming on YouTube. We will also be recording all of our lectures so that people can come back later and watch them. Be sure to check the page for specific nights to see if that event will be hybrid or online-only. Click here for info about in-person lectures.
There will be sign language interpreters at all lectures, and closed captioning available on Zoom. If anyone has any other access needs please contact accessmobpittsburgh@gmail.com by the Wednesday before the upcoming event.
